- The man most directly responsible for this twaddle was Steve Wood, who did
- thus comment on Amiga Format and Amos on the night of 06-Oct-97:
- -> Guys,
-
- -> Since the rounds of slagging AF off for their slagging off of Amos, have
- -> you seen the current mag?
-
- -> Readers stuff has 8 entries, 6 of which are written in either Amos Classic
- -> or Amos Pro, the other to in Blatz Biscuit, or whatever it is. The star
- -> prize was even awarded to a compendium of classic arcade games written in
- -> Amos.
-
- -> Weather they like it or not, Amos is here to Stay.
-
- -> Live long and Prosper!
-
- Yes, its the same every issue. If you look real closely, for the last few
- months, there has been an AMOS game by our very own robert Benjamin. I
- havent got the latest issue yet, I didnt have enough cash when I was in
- Software Hut.
-
- They just dont seem to understand that AMOS is the choice of language for
- all beginner programmers, and they tend to stay with it more because of its
- simplicity and power - which AF dont seem to be able to figure out yet.
